Olympic Stories as depicted on Stamps

hello friends!

myselfI, Tapan Kumar Roy, from India, a stamp collector and very much fond of designing web pages, is presenting you this website. The Olympic is coming up and I have redesigned this site to delight you with the untold stories of some Olympic Stamps. The site was first introduced on the eve of 2000 Olympic.
All of you know that the practice of issuing postage stamps to help cover the Olympic expenses dates back to the first Olympiad in Athens in 1896. This tradition is still going on. Today, it is an accepted norm that "every stamp sold will benefit the Olympic Games and the Olympic team of the country where the stamps are sold."
Greece was the first country to introduce sports stamps in 1896. Hope you will enjoy this website and give me your valuable opinion.
